A self contained timber-framed and timber-clad unit with a turf roof that has been built using ecologically sound principles, but combines this with the luxuries and ease of modern living.

A high level of recycled newspaper insulation ensures that inside remains warm and comfortable with the minimum input of heat.
 

Untreated timber and natural oils, waxes & paints with zero VOC's have been used to prevent off gassing of toxins inside.

Accommodation consists of kitchen / dining area – 2 single beds – shower / toilet. Comfortable chairs to relax and read in or enjoy the South facing windows with views of the Black Mountains.
