A warm welcome awaits you at Beaconfield, which is conveniently situated in the
charming village of Glasbury on Wye, just 4 miles from Hay on Wye.
 
Please note: We are now only open between Easter and October 31st.
 

The house is set in attractive gardens and there is ample parking available.
 
You will find our rooms comfortably furnished and well appointed. In addition to Colour TV and en-suite facilities, there is the added benefit of full air conditioning.

There are also beautiful views of the Black Mountains and the surrounding Radnorshire countryside from all windows, and the house adjoins open farmland.

 

The local area is renowned for its stunning landscape and wide range of outdoor activities, including Pony Trekking, Canoeing, Gliding, Hill Walking and a nearby outdoor pursuits centre.

For the less energetic, Hay on Wye is world renowned as the “Town Of Books,” and many hours can be spent exploring the winding streets and interesting shops.

Several country pubs and good restaurants are within easy reach.
 

 

Many guests comment on our excellent breakfasts, including the choice of an impressive full traditional menu, that will “set you up for the day!”

They are served in our light and airy dining room.

 
 
Please note that Beaconfield has a non-smoking policy throughout the house, and we are, unfortunately, unable to cater for children under 8 years.
TARIFF & Charges (Booking is Essential)
There are 2 Double Rooms & 1 Twin Room available.

£30 for one night per person and £27.50 per person per night (for more than one night).

Single person in double room £35 for one night £30 for more than one night.

Payment is welcome by cash or cheque.
